Life Cairn |
|
|
This Life Cairn is a public memorial raised on 6 April 2018 in remembrance of endemic species gone extinct. It is made of natural stones and rocks. Stone cairns are found across the world and traditionally have been used throughout history to guide people when they are lost in the wilderness. Sadly there have been many more extinctions on Mauritius than those presented on this page. |
